It's always very nice and easy to work with Norma at the Chicagoland Rhine Shield office. Very responsive and always asking for details to ensure that she understands all your needs. The painters crew we had was also great. They worked closely with us to ensure all our concerns were taking care of, did a quick, yet thorough job painting our house and walked through with us at the end to identify any touch ups needed. They carefully covered all areas around the painted surface, before starting the job, and thoroughly cleaned around the house upon completion. All in all a very good experience.

The Rhinoshield crew arrived on time every day and although a few of the days were extremely hot, they worked VERY hard and did an outstanding job. They took care in the masking of all of the surfaces that were not to be coated, and the cleanup after was very good as well. They took the time to point out all of the bad wood that needed replacing and found the matching pieces locally, and replaced them at a very reasonable cost. We originally were only going to have the house siding done, but it came out so well that we had them come back and do the facia, gutters, eves and downspouts on the house AND a 24X30 garage in the back yard. We are extremely happy with the results, and love the fact that we won't ever have to paint again!

I thought Rhino Shield of Chicago was too good to be true. I was wrong. From my first meeting with Zack the process was very smooth and thorough. From the time we first met until the job was finished was less than 4 days. The process was explained and was very thorough. The time invested in the preparation was well spent, which leads to a great finish on the siding. Juan and his co-worker first prepped the siding with a heavy duty and thorough pressure washing. The siding was inspected for any wood that needed replacing. After needed wood was replaced and again inspected, two coats of the sticky primer was applied. Following this, three coats of Rhino Shield was applied. The final outcome was amazing. I would definitely recommend Rhino Shield to anyone needing their house painted. It is comforting to know I won't need exterior painting for 25 years.

Finished wood sections look like they will last for a long time. Power wash technician cleaned our front walk as a bonus. We were most impressed with the manner in which they sealed up the bottom of the two window overhang sections we have, and the additional cost for this was very reasonable. We highly recommend Rhino Shield at this time.

The sales person Kris as well as the crew was phenomenal. I’m somewhat cautious and sure hope it lasts the 25 years as stated. The crew was outstanding and I believe the lead man (Juan) was so professional, thorough and also helped put some decorations back as well as excellent clean up - he deserves a gold metal. (My husband and I are experiencing health issues). Sure wished we would have done this years ago. Price is a bit steep but the product is 10 out of 10! Regular painting only lasted about 5 years. Our home has never looked so beautiful. I would not hesitate to have RhinoShield done if your home needs painting. The only negative if I had to mention one - we weren't given the week's notice they said they would give. We were basically called the day they were coming out so we didn't have much time to get our decorations down and a few other items in order. Overall - outstanding experience. Customer service at the office was 10 out of 10 stars as well.

My wife and I had our house coated with Rhino Shield 11 years ago and recently a few areas began to show discoloration where some of the wood had been replaced when they originally performed the work so I contacted Rhino Shield to ask about the warranty and schedule an appointment. They came out right away and when the looked at it they said they had never seen anything like that before, but that it is covered under the warranty! I worked with Brenda and she was GREAT, very responsive and kept us updated during the whole process. Brenda sent her painter Carlos to perform the work and I cannot say enough about what a fantastic job he did! He was professional, clean and fast! Got the whole job done in one day with not so much as a drop of paint where is shouldn't have been. We are very happy with Rhino Shield of Chicago and even more happy about their commitment to their customers. Highly recommend!

We had some areas of wear and water damage. Rhino shield was easy to contact and quickly responsive to scheduling repairs. That took a while, weather and season related, but the job is done. Thank you especially to Brenda.

Back in 2007 we initially had our house painted with repairs to the cedar. They did a fabulous job! In September 2020 We noticed some blistering on the cedar. Immediately Norma from Rhino Shield scheduled a representative to see the issues. Once the inspection was completed a representative scheduled a repair. Unfortunately the original color was not available so we decided to re-coat using the next closest color. The installers were extremely careful not to ruin any of all my plants, taped glass doors and windows for splatter and cleaned up after the job was complete. They suggested a few repairs to the siding which worked out great. We are very pleased with the product, the workmanship and promptness on getting the problem resolved and highly recommend this company. We were not aware of the other services they offer but IF we need help in the future Rhino Shield is our go to company THANK YOU Rhino Shield for a job well done. I would strongly recommend Rhino Shield --- matter of fact my sister in Palos Hills accepted my referral and also used their services.

I'm extremely happy with the product and service Rhino Shield has provided. Zach Dixson was my customer service rep who met with me at my home to take me through the entire process and what to expect. He was professional and precise every step of the way. He wasn't a pushy salesman and told me to contact him when I was ready to make a decision. I told him 2 days later and on the third day he came back to my home to execute the bill of sale. It was a very simple process. The product was applied very professionally and diligently. The crew that came to do the work was professional and courteous and treated my home like it was their's. Exceptional workmanship by Harold & Crew. Keen eye for detail and provided services beyond my expectations. I am so happy I had my house painted by Rhino Shield. It was a hard decision to pick out a color from all of the colors they offer ... anything you want. I decided to go different, most of the houses in my neighborhood are tan or gray I chose a beach teal color , since I was painting brick I was a little scared but I went for it . My painters name is Jose he is amazing he let me pick out 2 other choices and then put them on the brick so I could see it on instead of a small sample and glad he did because I wound up going with a different sample but same color pallet. If you are lucky enough to have Jose’ paint your house you will be amazed he did every detail as I would expect from a professional but he was also kind and always on time. I am so happy !!!!!I know that people write things they don’t like that’s easy but I am writing because I am happy and I want other people to know this is a good company with professional people! We are just thrilled with this Company, their staff, their workers and their superb product!! Our home is mostly cedar siding, which needs to be stained every 6-7 years. Too much work for my husband to do at his advancing age. This coating is the answer to our prayers!! The wood grain of the cedar shows through which was most important to us! The ad I found in the neighborhood paper sparked our interest, the guarantee about the coating made me call! Any one we spoke to and/or met were knowledgeable and proud of the Company and its product: RhinoShield coating. We ran around to see homes they had done, with special interest in cedar siding coated jobs! We loved what we saw.. but to be honest...our home is now a phenomenal representation for this Company. Our cedar sided house needed staining. We felt this was always going to be something we would have to do over & over again. Solid stain didn't last any better than transparent stain. We had recently replaced our wood deck to Trex so no more staining that monster. Then I found the ad for Rhino Shield, & I am glad I did! The 25 year warranty was best of all. Everything was so different from regular paint. Two different under coats, a primer, & one for the paint to adhere, then the special thick ceramic paint applied. But not before everything was meticulously taped off. We didn't just have our cedar done, we had all the gutters, alum. doors, windows, garage door, & wood deck railings that were unfinished because we added a section to our deck. The colors were matched exactly to everything we had. When finished, they took us around & asked about every single spot that might be questioned. They had replaced cedar boards that were bad as well. They came every day without fail & showed a level of professionalism rarely seen. It was a family unit. And one day the head of the family got ill. We didn't know until then next day, because, while someone took him to the hospital, the rest stayed behind to work. That was in June, 2018. This year, 2019, we bought a shed, & it was delivered to our home. Because we could not get a color even close to our house color, we hired Rhino Shield again to paint the shed. We wholeheartedly endorse this company! This is an honest review.

The people were very knowledgeable—both those on the administrative end and those that were actually doing the work, the application, and the follow-up. One of the things that made me feel comfortable was that when appeared as though there was a discrepancy in the color, they assured us that all the paint was from the same lot, and they said to give it time to see what it looks like at different stages of the year. They didn't even hesitate to assure us that they would hold to that if we felt the same way come spring and summer—they would make good on it even if they had to repaint one of the dormers. They were timely and cautious; on days when we were going to have rain, they made sure that they didn't try to apply any finish if there was a chance that a downpour might ruin the finish. Overall, it was a good experience. I was impressed with a job they did for a friend of ours—that friend is very, very particular, and he spoke very highly of Rhino Shield. I wasn't at all familiar with the process or the fact that the application of the primer and the end finish would still allow the cedar to breathe—that was one of my big concerns, but I've known this friend for a good number of years, and he's quite meticulous, so I listened when he referred them. Then, when I talked to the people from Rhino Shield and they came to give an estimate and an overview of how the operation would work from start to finish, I was pretty satisfied.
